Real burdens regularly give rise to problems in both residential and development transactions, particularly where enforcement rights are unclear or older title conditions no longer reflect how land is used in practice. These issues often come to light at key stages in a transaction and can create real risk if not properly understood.
This session focuses on how these problems arise and how to deal with them in practice, helping you advise clients with confidence and avoid pitfalls.

Stephanie is a Partner in Shepherd and Wedderburn's litigation and dispute resolution team specialising in property disputes, primarily in the rural and residential sectors as well as handling a number of real estate disputes. She also advises private clients in relation to a variety of contentious matters, including challenges to wills and neighbour disputes.
